It was an innovative product when it first came out in 2003, but Sidewalker just keeps getting better. We've added a host of new features to version 1.5 including:

PROACTIVE SIDEWALK INSPECTIONS
Sidewalker is an easy to use, field-friendly software solution that puts all the infrastructure possibilities where they should be; in the field. Sidewalker works on a Windows based tablet computer with a GPS receiver.
This allows your Engineering inspectors to enter all of their inspection data directly onto a screen of defects, simultaneously saving positional information with the defect observations.
By collecting the defect information with high-resolution GPS data the defects can be imported into a GIS system for immediate mapping of priority repairs.
